Movie Review: The Green Mile

“The Green Mile” is one of the highest rating movies in the year 1999. This movie had got many awards especially Oscars. I watched this film recently. I want to tell a short description of this movie.

The Green Mile is a cell to keep the prisoner until the execution. The main character of this movie was Paul Edgecomb. He was the supervisor of the Green Mile. He also supervised some execution. One day, a prisoner came to the Green Mile. His name was John Coffey. As I say “Like the drink, but not to spelt”. He was tall; big and looks like an African. He was being convicted of the murders of two little girls. Then it was normal. Paul and his friend were busy taking caring the Green Mile. Paul and his friends executed a man named Arlan Bitterbuck. I want to tell how they perform the execution. First, they take the man to the execution hall and sit on an electric chair. After that, they tied the man with some solid things. Then they keep the wet sponge on the head of an executed man. After that, they tied the wire into the executed man’s head. Then, switch on the electricity and pass through the executed man’s body until death. I want to tell you about John Coffey. He was a miracle. Moreover, he hates the darkness.

That’s the beginning of the story. The remaining story you should watch. The movie was very good. I will give it 9.5 out of 10. I like the last dialogue of John Coffey. He said, “Mostly, I’m tired of people being ugly to each other. I’m tired of all the pain I feel and hear in the world every day”. In another dialogue I was very impressed “He killed them with they love. That’s how it is every day all over the world.” I suggest you should watch the movie. I think it’s a life-changing movie. That’s all.
